Hi fellow! How are you doing today? Have you listened songs lately? Oh I might forget you could have enjoyed your first UNFOLDING ME journal along with hot coffee or tea! (I used to be a coffeholic, now I'm moving into splendid teas).
Embracing the power of decisiveness!
Whoa! What a strong headline of the start! No, it is just the beginning, calm down right now! Lol😆
Alright I am deadly serious now, sorry for the interruption (honestly that's what makes life interesting, isn't it?)
Starting from the big headline today, the power of decisiveness! I will break down into a single word —decisiveness. What is related to decisiveness? Decision, got it! Thank you for answering, give some applauses, please!
Decision, it says a lot about life in everyday context. We are pleased to have been presented by plenty choices every single day — from wardrobes to coffee or tea, if you choose tea (congrats, happy to see you on board with me).
Which tea do you prefer? Are you into green tea or jasmine tea? Or the latest trend rose tea, that sounds great though. Anyways, what I will highlight is we are being presented by choices daily.
You might say "ohh whatever, same as yours" if someone pays the bill (how dare you request something?!). Yeah, that's totally fine, it is a must to be a polite companion. But what about a decision in your life? Will you say the same ohh-whatever to damn serious thing like marriage?
Lack of Confidence
Oftentimes, people do not have the courage to be decisive, to start over, end up repeating the old pattern just to fit in or might be to have something to rely on.
Those associated with lack of confidence. Lack of confidence basically associates to absence of courage that comes from various backgrounds, be it childhood or adulthood, whether in the inner circle (family) or social circle.
By the way, by being rejected most of the time, needing a place to stay on, constantly seeking external validation, it could be anything the list could go on and on, decrease self-worth one portrays by themselves.
I digress a little bit, there is a Japanese legend overflowing on the internet, which supports the narrative, that says, "If you get on the wrong train, get off at the nearest station, the longer it takes you to get off, the more expensive the return trip will be". What a powerful anecdote!
The same logic can be applied to everyday context. Whether it is a Monday-Monster job, exhausted relationship, two-faced friend, whatever it might be, it is extremely in tune with everyday matters.
We got to be aware of extra payment waiting behind seals — handshakes and deals. Be so sensitive to our feelings, it speaks louder than anything in between.
Now onwards, listen to the intuition, analyse everything like you're gonna marry someone (even today people do not even care of serious committed relationship) at least you are not one of those.
This is the precious life, we ought to care much, to every detail, to every unprepared stuff, at every corner. Be careful along the way, fellow. I kid you not!
Leave Yourself with No Backup
After analysing, then come a step to apply a decision, whether you're ready or not, leave yourself with no backup. Nevertheless, life wouldn't consider if people are seeking external validation, if they need time or they have to work on self-esteem.
"Life has to go on no matter what!"
People have to catch up to meet life at its level, so they can navigate endlessly.
Later, life goes by. Thus, being more decisive can help people to confront risks, pursue dreams and seize opportunities, prevent them to hold back and stay still. And being decisive means we ought to detach - analyse - decide.
💭 Final Thoughts
Along the journey, the goal is to live a more courageous life — to be assertive and decisive, regardless of challenging circumstances.
Do not leave anything for later, recognizing the situation and having the nerve to act without delay, even when it seems impossible.
Be courageous, be decisive!!
